Dr Ronit Okun comes with over 20 years of experience as a doctor; She completed her Medical training at the University of Cape Town, she then went on to specialize in Family Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch graduating with Cum laude for her Masters in Family Medicine. 

She chose to specialize in family medicine as she enjoys the holistic approach to treating people as well as being able to care for the whole family. 

She has been described as; “One of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met!” by the Head of Neurology at a local tertiary hospital. 

Dr Okun has spent most of her career in the state sector holding many senior roles. 

One of these positions consisted of being the clinical manager and lead doctor at the District 6 community health centre located in the heart of the CBD in Cape Town servicing over 10 000 patients per month. 

During the Covid-19 pandemic she worked in the largest Covid-19 field hospital in Africa based at the Convention Centre in Cape Town. 

Dr Okun, a mother of 4 is a dedicated doctor with a broad range of interests including women’s health, chronic diseases, health screening services, geriatrics. 

Patient education, health promotion and health screening has always been Dr Okun’s passion particularly Women's Health screening. 

At her Sea Point practice, Dr. Okun offers individual medical consultations, providing personalized care tailored to your needs.
