    Dr Deidré Reed qualified at Pretoria University in 1996 and worked in the UK and New Zealand before joining private practices first in Bryanston (Jhb) and then in Sedegfield. In 2012 she moved over to community medicine and worked at public clinics in George and Strand. In 2019 she opened her own private practice in Somerset West and since June 2021 she and Dr Rinky Vamvadelis merged their practices to form The Helderberg Family Practice. Her areas of interest are Family Health; Mental Health; Geriatrics (Care for the Elderly); Diabetes; Hypertension; HIV (Children/Adults); Palliative Care; and Minor Procedures (Cryotherapy/Moles) . LGBTQI friendly. She can be consulted at her practice Suite 2A, Block 2, Arun Place next to MediClinic on Sir Lowry's Pass Road, Somerset West. She also does regular after hours shifts at the Waterstone Mall in Somerset West.
